“Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen”
O. Pamuk

The walls of my home, full of drawings of furry friends, both those who are here and those who have gone, accompany me and remind me of the luck I have had and still have to share so many moments of pure life. These companions fill our days with joy and lessons. We just need to pay attention and learn to listen with our hearts because, as Saint-Exupéry said in The Little Prince, “what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

I started painting animals driven by the need to fill a great void, after 20 years of companionship, Pixel had just left me. I always say I painted him with the brushes of my heart. When I get home, he still greets me, even though his meow is now silent.

My passion is bringing life to our beloved furry companions, those loyal friends who give us so much during their time with us. Preserving and surrounding ourselves with their memory through art is the best tribute to their loyalty and companionship.

Through my paintings, I aim to capture not only their likeness but also their soul and unique character. Working with the highest quality materials, I will provide you with a portrait that will accompany you for a lifetime, created from your most special images.

Reference photos

The better the photo, the better the work!

I will ask you for a selection of high-quality digital photographs (if possible) to choose the most suitable one for the portrait. Low-quality images may affect the level of detail, so having clear and well-lit photographs will ensure a better result.

Additionally, I would appreciate a description of the animal: its personality, history, and any details you’d like to share. This information will help me capture its essence more accurately and reflect it in the portrait.

Materials

For my portraits, I work with high-quality, lightfast colored pencils, ensuring a durable and vibrant piece of art.
I use professional-grade materials such as:
• Caran D’ache Luminance
• Caran D’ache Pablo
• Caran D’ache Museum Aquarelle
• Faber Castell Polychromos
• Faber Castell Pitt
• Carbothello
• Derwent Drawing
• PanPastel

Each portrait is created on acid-free, high-quality paper, ensuring long-term preservation.

The process

The working time varies between 6 and 8 weeks. I cannot guarantee an exact completion date, as art is subjective and it’s difficult to precisely estimate the time required to finish each piece. For this reason, it is preferable to set a wide margin, and if it finishes earlier, even better.

Christmas deadline: Please note that during this period, the waiting time may double. I recommend placing your orders well in advance to ensure they arrive on time.

Payments can be made via Bizum or bank transfer.
